CSI Solutions were appointed by Bowmer & Kirkland, working in partnership with Komfort Partitioning, to deliver the high-performance glazing and fire safety package for the prestigious Space Park Leicester development. The project required a modern, open aesthetic combined with strict acoustic control and certified fire protection all delivered to exacting standards within an advanced research environment.
Komfort Polar single and double glazed partitions maximise natural light and acoustic performance throughout the building. Sonik 70mm doors with SALTO electronic locks provide secure access, while Komfort Defence EI30 and EI60 fire screens deliver tested, EN-compliant fire resistance for complete peace of mind.
The installation combined Komfort’s Polar single and double glazed systems, creating bright, connected workspaces with excellent sound reduction. Secure access was achieved through Sonik 70mm framed doors fitted with SALTO electronic locking. Critical areas were protected with Komfort Defence EI30 and EI60 fire-rated screens, ensuring full compliance with EN standards. Working alongside Bowmer & Kirkland and Shepheard Epstein Hunter, CSI Solutions provided seamless coordination, delivering a high-quality, compliant solution that enhances both safety and design integrity within this world-class facility.
